Access Lifts & Ramps, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organization skills to coordinate and dispatch our field service staff. A large portion of our customer base is elderly so it is important that you have compassion for their condition.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the field service staff’s daily schedules and dispatch them as service calls come in
  • Schedule client maintenance appointments, repairs, inspections and installations
  • Confirm appointments with customers via phone
  • Prepare field service staff paperwork daily
  • Ensure all work orders are properly brought to resolution
  • Receive inbound parts and material shipments
  • Manage material return process with manufacturers
  • Contact clients for referrals and testimonials
  • Maintain all manufacturers marketing materials
  • Light QuickBooks data entry
  • Maintain customer database
  • Provide exceptional customer service when answering the multi-line telephone. Respond to routine and non-routine questions,
  • routing calls appropriately and taking messages as needed
  • Additional day to day needs within the office setting as assigned

Required Experience and Personal Characteristics:

  • 1 year of experience as a service coordinator or dispatcher at a field service company
  • A willingness and capability to learn quickly, especially with computer software
  • Experience with Quickbooks is a plus
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Optimum organizational skills and the ability to prioritize duties for yourself and others
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Team player with strong work and personal ethics
  • Even personality even during times of stress

40 hours per week – 8a – 5p, Monday through Friday
Compensation is commensurate with experience
